Crandall & Associates employees gave back to our community by purchasing a table at Ransomed for Life lunch fundraiser. Funds raised are used to help teenage victims of human trafficking.
Ransomed Life SA
A Christ-centered faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration of girls ages 13-17 who are survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking. These victims are Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking and/or commercially sexually exploited children located in San Antonio, Texas area. The vision for this organization is to implement a long-term recovery home for these children by providing peer support groups, leadership and educational opportunities as well as parent education and training workshops. The girls are involved in groups that discuss how certain situations can be avoided or dealt with properly the next time they face that circumstance. Families are provided with support and help to re-engage with their child after that child was exploited. The mentoring program strategically places girls and mentors together. They develop trust and worthiness in the eyes of their mentor. These girls are also involved with “mentor mixers” where the mentors and their girls meet up for large group activities. This allows them to interact again in wholesome group exercises. The last part of this program is the restoration where they provide bible studies and sharing of individual’s testimonies.
