Coverage for property/inventory owned by your business. Some items include furniture, computers, servers, printers, inventory, stock, or anything you would take if you moved.

EPL (EMPLOYEE PRACTICES LIABILITY) INSURANCE

Coverage for an employee suing an employer for some of the following: wrongful termination, failure to hire, failure to promote over someone else, sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, etc.

BUSINESS INCOME INSURANCE

Coverage for the income you lose that results from a covered cause of loss, i.e. an office burns down and you cannot operate, causing you to lose income while you are down.

CRIME INSURANCE

This coverage responds when your employee steals either money or property from the business.

GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE

Coverage for occurrences such as slip and falls on your premises or for products that you manufacture. General Liability would also cover defamation, libel, slander, invasion of privacy, etc.

DEFENSE BASE ACT (DBA) INSURANCE

Similar to workers’ comp, the Defense Base Act is coverage for your employees while working outside the US and on military bases.

WORKERS’ COMPENSATION INSURANCE

Coverage for your employees if they are injured while on the job to pay for medical expenses and loss of wages.

UMBRELLA INSURANCE

Additional liability coverage that extends over the underlying policies. These underlying policies can include any of the following: general liability, employer’s liability, auto liability, etc.

CYBER LIABILITY INSURANCE

Coverage for when a hacker breaks into your computer system and steals personal information such as dates of birth, social security numbers, addresses, and credit card information.

EQUIPMENT BREAKDOWN INSURANCE

Coverage for your expensive equipment that is electrical and could be damaged due to a lightning strike.

COMMERCIAL AUTO INSURANCE

Coverage for any vehicles that your business may own. Coverages include liability, physical damage, theft of your auto, personal injury protection, etc.

BOILER AND MACHINERY

Provides coverage for boilers on your premises. Provides coverage for property damage, extra expenses, and more.

EBL (EMPLOYEE BENEFIT LIABILITY) INSURANCE

Coverage for an honest error or omission of not adding someone onto the employee benefits plan. There is only one open enrollment period, so forgetting to add on an employee could cost you thousands if they require medical treatment.

FIDUCIARY LIABILITY

Coverage for the choices you make in your retirement plan for your employees. Also can include Employee Benefits Liability described above.

SURETY BONDS

There are many types of bonds: Fidelity, ERISA, Performance, Bids, Contract, etc. and provides a variety of coverage, based on the bond type.

INLAND MARINE

Coverage for property you have moving around. It could be as small as a laptop, or as large as construction machinery.

FLOOD

Most policies do not provide flood coverage. Flood coverage can be written through the NFIP program, or various other private flood programs.

ACTIVE SHOOTER

Provides coverage for those unfortunate events to include property damage, business income, counseling services for those affected, burial expenses, and more.
